Reliance Consumer Products collaborates with Sri Lanka’s Elephant House For Its beverage Expansion in India

Reliance Consumer Products: Reliance Consumer Products partnered with Sri Lanka’s Elephant House to introduce, distribute, and sell Elephant House beverages across India. In the official statement, Ketan Mody, COO of Reliance Consumer Products Limited said “This association will not only help RCPL bolster its growing beverage portfolio that boasts iconic brands such as Campa, Sosyo and Raskik but will also bring exceptional new products and value propositions to Indian consumers,”.

Elephant House or Ceylon Cold Stores (CCS)  was established in 1866 who imported country’s first ice-making machine, with an initial capital of £1,600, two steam engines of 8 and 9 horsepower, and a total of 22 employees, the company started producing ice on a commercial scale., Elephant Soft Drinks remains the market leader in Sri Lanka, despite competition from global competitors such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi. In 1880 they acquired the business and goodwill of J. Maitland, who owned a medical hall which sold a variety of medicated wine.
