India’s First Indoor Athletics and Aquatic Centres: Odissa is going to inaugurate the India 1st ever Indoor Athletics and Aquatic centres at the Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneshwar. It will lead to the foundation stone for a new indoor diving centre in the stadium complex.

India’s First Indoor Athletics and Aquatic Centres

The Indoor Athletics and Aquatic Centres will feature a temperature-controlled 50m Olympic-sized swimming pool and 25 m warm-up pool and will be capable of hosting national and international championships of the future, thus earning Odissa an income source of the future. It has a seating capacity of 1000 spectators, and its aquatic centre is capable of hosting national and international swimming events, where it will act as the Odisha Inspire Institute of Sport High-Performance Center of the present and future. This facility will also feature a 25-meter diving pool alongside a 5-meter pool for swimming, both temperature-controlled for optimal training conditions.
