History of North Korean Sanction in UNSC

Since 2006, the United Nations Security Council panel of expert has issued nearly a dozen resolutions imposing sanctions on North Korea related to their nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs. These sanctions are imposed by the United States and other nations, whose aim is to pressure North Korea into abandoning its nuclear program and signing multiple nuclear proliferation treaties with NATO nations, including the USA.
