Nimrit Kaur Make Bolloywood Debut: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is set to make her Bollywood debut in a thriller drama. She met producer Ajay Rai, who is known for giving chances to new talent. After a long audition process, she finally got the role. The film is currently in pre-production, and she will start shooting in September after finishing her stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi. Nimrit was initially supposed to debut in Dibakar Banerjee’s film Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 (LSD 2). The film was announced while she was on Bigg Boss, but it didn’t work out. For the first time, Nimrit explained that she needed some time for herself after Bigg Boss. She wanted to be better prepared for a film role, both physically and mentally, and felt she couldn’t give her best at that moment. Even though it was a tough decision, she knew she had to make it as she can’t afford many missed opportunities being an outsider in the industry.

Nimrit started her career as a model. In 2018, she won the title of Femina Miss Manipur and was among the top 12 contestants in Femina Miss India 2018. Her modeling success opened doors to the entertainment industry, where she featured in B Praak’s music video “Masstaani.” Nimrit made her acting debut in 2019 with the lead role in Colors TV’s drama series Choti Sarrdaarni. She played the characters Meher Kaur Dhillon and Seher Kaur Gill, which made her a household name. The show ran until 2022. In 2021, she appeared in Bannet Dosanjh’s music video titled “Serious.” She also featured in the educational film Who Said Boys Can’t Wear Makeup? by Priyakanta Laishram in 2018.Nimrit participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 16 from 2022 to 2023. She was evicted in the finale week and finished in 6th place.Nimrit is set to make her Bollywood debut in a thriller drama film. She will start shooting in September 2024 after completing her appearance on Khatron Ke Khiladi.
