NDA 2 Vacancy 2023: Exciting Opportunities Await!

The official NDA 2 Notification 2023, which will be released by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) on 17th May 2023, will provide detailed information regarding the total number of vacancies to be filled through the NDA 2 exam 2023. These vacancies present a golden opportunity for candidates aspiring to join the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA).

In the previous NDA 1 Exam 2023, a total of 395 vacancies were available for recruitment. Among these, 352 vacancies were allocated for the National Defence Academy (NDA) while the remaining 42 vacancies were designated for the Naval Academy (NA). The distribution of vacancies ensures that there are ample opportunities for candidates to pursue their desired career paths.

UPSC NDA 2 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Fulfilling the Requirements for Success

To be eligible for Defence Jobs through the UPSC NDA 2 2023 exam, candidates must meet specific qualifications in terms of education, age, nationality, and physical standards. Let’s delve into the details:

Education Qualification for NDA:

  • For the Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Candidates should have passed the 12th standard or its equivalent examination from a State Education Board or a recognized University.
  • For the Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have completed their 12th class or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a State Education Board or a recognized University.
    Note: Candidates appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 School Education or equivalent examination are also eligible to appear in the UPSC NDA examination.

Age Limit for NDA:

  • Only unmarried male/female candidates born between 2nd January 2005 and 1st January 2008 are eligible to apply.

Nationality:

  • Candidates must be unmarried male/female and fall into one of the following categories:
  • A Citizen of India
  • A Subject of Bhutan
  • A Subject of Nepal
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Physical Standards for NDA:

  • Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy, which include:
  • Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes
  • Skipping
  • Pushups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each
  • Chin-ups: Minimum 08
  • Rope Climbing: 3.4 meters

NDA 2 2023 Syllabus 

There would be two subjects Mathematics & General Ability Test for which the candidates have to be well-prepared. The candidates are advised to not skip any topic for NDA Exam and begin their preparation along with the detailed syllabus.
