Recently , GOI in Hyderabad had identified approximately 15,000 farm households in the districts of Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Sirmour, Solan, and Una , where one of the significant steps to promote steps to improve ecosystems which can improve farmers’ access to subtropical horticulture markets, through Community Horticulture Production and Marketing Associations (CHPMAs) and district-wide CHPMA cooperative societies. While building up the farmer capability , it is also promoting climate-resilient agricultural practices, while minimizing the ill treatment of agriculture over ecosystems.
