Alliance for Global Good-Gender Equity and Equality: India established the “Global Alliance for Global Good – Gender Equity and Equality” at the 54th annual World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos The objective of Global Good-Gender Equity and Equality is to increase women’s leadership and empowerment in the private sector and improve their women employability and better gender equality in the private sector of India.

Alliance for Global Good-Gender Equity and Equality

The Alliance for Global Good-Gender Equity and Equality aimed at promoting gender equality and empowerment, following the G20 Summit 2023. It seeks to build on the initiatives of the Engagement Group and frameworks existing initiatives like Business 20, Women 20, and G20 EMPOWER, focusing particularly on enhancing women’s leadership in the private sector. Coupled with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Centre for Women Leadership and backed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the alliance had signed a partnership with organizations like the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Invest India.
